Our Story
We are committed to transforming lives and communities by advocating for accessible and affordable opioid addiction treatment. As a 501(c)(4) organization, our mission is to empower patients and their families with the knowledge, resources, and support needed to break the cycle of addiction and achieve lasting recovery.
Since ROTP and it’s predecessor company began operation in 2018, our ethical mission has been to never profit off of the financial hardship and suffering facing our patients; hence we incorporated as a, not-for-profit organization. Every excess dollar we generate is reinvested back into better and less costly care for our patients.
Much is discussed about “income disparity” in our society. People struggling with past use of opioids, who are seeking treatment and affordable buprenorphine, are facing the ultimate financial disadvantage.
Before making a monthly rent or mortgage payment, a car payment, or provide for their family, they must pay for the treatment and medication just to stay alive. ROTP’s ongoing goal is to bring down the cost of treatment and help our patients find consistent, convenient and less costly supplies of buprenorphine.
We are in a constant battle with street dealers peddling deadly drugs, which is what is causing unprecedented levels of overdose deaths. The good fight is never over to save one life at a time
Our Focus
Telehealth technology has proven to be a life-saving and cost-effective way to help people struggling with the past usage of opioids. The telehealth format ROTP uses for our Supervised Drug Rehabilitation Program is mirrored on the instruction format many leading universities use to help students living in remote areas obtain college degrees
Our Mission
Over half the counties in the U.S. do not a physician or nurse practitioner (where permitted) who can prescribe buprenorphine. Traveling to and from a distant outpatient treatment center, many miles away, for diagnosis and daily treatment is not an option that fits their lives. Telemedicine has and can continue to fill that need.
Our Objectives
We believe that every individual struggling with substance abuse deserves the chance to reclaim their health and well-being without the burden of financial hardship. Our mission is to:
- Advocate for Policy Change: We diligently lobby for policy reforms that promote equitable access to evidence-based substance abuse treatment options. We work with legislators and government agencies to eliminate barriers and expand funding for addiction treatment programs.
- Raise Awareness: We are dedicated to raising awareness about the stigma surrounding addiction and the importance of early intervention. By fostering a culture of understanding and compassion, we aim to reduce the shame associated with seeking help.
- Connect Patients with Resources: Our organization serves as a central hub for information, connecting patients and their loved ones with affordable treatment centers, support groups, and counseling services.
- Support Families: We offer a network of support for the families and friends of those affected by substance abuse. We provide education and resources to empower loved ones to play a vital role in the recovery journey.
- Promote Research and Innovation: We collaborate with researchers and treatment providers to promote evidence-based practices and innovations in the field of addiction treatment. We believe that staying at the forefront of research is key to improving outcomes for those we serve.
- Community Engagement: We engage with communities across the nation, fostering partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and institutions to create a united front against substance abuse. Through educational programs and community events, we strive to build a supportive environment for those in recovery.
Our unwavering commitment is driven by the belief that affordable, high-quality substance abuse treatment should be accessible to all, regardless of their socio-economic status.
By advocating for change, providing resources, and fostering understanding, we aim to pave the way for a brighter, addiction-free future for individuals, families, and communities.
